The Pop influences that inspired Ennio Morricone's 'Spaghetti' Western guitar sound!

In the early 1950's, a new variation of American Country music called Honky Tonk emphasized hard-clanging guitar and galloping rhythms. It was a lead-in to tougher chords in Rock'n'Roll and Rockabilly music, and then Surf soon after.
