Ravager is a Thrash Metal band from Walsrode, Lower Saxony (D).
Founded in late 2014 when Marcel Lehr (guitar), suffering a musical dry spell, asked a similar situated Dario Rosenberg (guitar) to start a new band. To complete the lineup both asked former band members and consequently bass player André Sawade and vocalist Philip Herbst joined. It was not long until the four motivated musicians had found a place to rehearse and started working on their first songs, the search for a Drummer turned out to be tough, though.
Driven by the need and an ever-existing interest in drumming André chose to take the chair and he loves it ever since. The vacuum in the low frequencies could be filled following a barbecue party where Justus, a young, motivated and very long haired bass player was met.
Finally complete the band played their first local gigs and by the end of 2015 started recording their first Demo EP „Alarm Clock Terror“ which finally was released independently in March 2016.
With many ideas and loads of energy Ravager are looking forward to spending the following years doing what they love, touring & concerts!
