1983 marked a remarkable turning point in Nina Hagen's career:
The Giorgio Moroder-produced \"Angstlos\" saw her shifting away from the Punk Rock/New Wave style she was known for and towards a funkier, more disco orientated sound. With \"New York / N.Y.\" and \"Zarah\" it contained two Billboard Dance Club Songs Hits, the former reaching the top ten.
This is the German \"Angstlos\" release. Under the title \"Fearless\", the album was also released in America and the UK, with a different track order and a slightly different track selection. Some songs were recorded in both German and English and released on the respective version of the album.
