Claude Salyers, Jr. was from the Knox ,Indiana area; however he was born in Eastern Kentucky. I think Magoffin County, KY to be exact.



I met Claude in the 1990's when I was working at a funeral home in Salyersville, KY. He came to a relative's funeral. If I remember correctly, he actually sang in the funeral.



I have two different projects that Claude recorded. This one is my favorite of the two.



Claude passed away in 2008; but his music lives on.
