\"Songs Are Souvenirs\" is a collection of live and acoustic songs written and performed by Ryan Pryor. This live and acoustic album is a wide range of songs that wrestle with a variety of themes. The title \"Songs Are Souvenirs\" has been a dominant thread in Ryan's writing for the past two years. For Ryan, songwriting develops out of an experience, places that he has traveled, or a person’s story that has particularly affected him. Souvenirs are a way of collecting the past and remembering it in a way that allows it to live in a timeless space. These songs are some of his souvenirs- remembrances of moments, thoughts, and feelings. These simple souvenirs of have been sitting on a shelf for far too long, and this project is Ryan's way of dusting them off and sharing them with you all.



All songs were recorded acoustically in the same way they were written: alone in a room.
