A group from Lithgow, New South Wales, formed in 1965 as The Black Diamonds.
The group released two singles in 1966-67. In 1968, they changed their name to Tymepiece and moved to Sydney.
Three singles were released on Festival Records: The Bird In The Tree / I Gotta Know What You're Like (August 1968), Become Like You / Give A Little More (November 1969), and Won't Do you try? / Down And Out ”(October 1970).
Then they switched to the progressive label “Infinity” and released their debut album “Sweet Release” (February 1971), which was highly praised by music critics.
Unfortunately, the group itself broke up shortly after the release of the album. Alan Oloman appeared in The Executives in 1974.
