The various images used within this video are taken from photos and scans of my original vinyl LP jacket/cover, and labels; \"Mr. Flood's Party\" (1969) Cotillion Records SD 9003.
I've also borrowed a few black & white band photos found on the internet.
Short lived late 60's Long Island NY based psychedelic band that borrowed their moniker from the Edwin Arlington Robinson 1920's poem of the same name, \"Mr. Flood's Party\". Production Assistance on this LP was provided by Adrian Barber who was also responsible for recording the Beatles \"Gray Zone\" Live! at the Star-Club in Hamburg, Germany; 1962...along with producing albums by the likes of Cream, The Allman Brothers, Velvet Underground, Buffalo Springfield, The Rascals, and Aerosmith to name just a few.
Contrary to what some of the many misinformed \"Psychedelic\" internet blog proprietors might tell you...this band is NOT from Ann Arbor Michigan...however there was a club in that city known as \"Mr. Flood's Party\" aka \"Flood's\". Perhaps this is where some of the confusion lays?
Side note...
The original LP lists the track \"The Liquid Invasion\" clocking in at 4:09...though within my video I've included the short segue/intro to the following track found on the LP \"Garden Of The Queen\". This brings the video to its 4:35 run-time. Some of the more recent CD reissues have included this segue/intro of \"Garden Of The Queen\" as the tail end to the track \"The Liquid Invasion\", when in fact it's not...it's actually the intro to \"Garden Of The Queen\".
