In response to a request from StringsAndVerses here is an old favourite Music Hall song that would have been sung by the famous Florrie Ford though I listened to a Stanley Holloway version to find the tune to the verses. Like so many of these songs, the chorus is very familiar to me, but until today I never knew the verses which are somewhat tongue-twisting and I cannot work up the speed of Mr Holloway.
The song was written by Chas. Collins, E.A. Sheppard and Fred Terry.
