This track is an EP version from the classic 'The Art Of War' (1982).
The majestic trees of the picture are at the Cemetery Pere Lachaise in France, which were captured by me.
-Siglo XX were Antonio Palermo, Dirk Chauvaux, Erik Dries and Klaas Hoogerwaard. They were from Genk, a depressed industrial city in Belgium, which influenced their dark-wave style and put them in the Cold Wave map of Europe.-
Here it's an extract from their interview (1987):
\"What does Siglo XX mean? Is there any reason for the choice of this name?
Dirk: In fact, it's a Spanish word for 'Twentieth Century\", but we chose the name because it's also a mineworkers' camp in Bolivia and perhaps it matched also to our situation: we're also coming from a mineworkers' town. But in the first place we wanted a name with one or two X's in it, so we chose for Siglo XX. But, in fact, it is 'Siglo Twenty'.\"
Enjoy.
