This little 4-Inch recording was made by the Durium Company during the Summer of 1931 and was sent or given away free to any who requested it.
The Durium Company was the parent company of \"Hit of the Week\" - the cardboard records that were released weekly containing the latest dance music and sold for a price of 15 cents at news stands.
The Durium Company had a highly lucrative sideline producing Advertising Discs for their Clients. This recording is one such example. A Custom recording made for Chevrolet, giving customers \"advance information\" on the new 1932 Chevrolet.
