French psychedelia by Serge Franklin in AZ records releasd in 1968

In the sixties, Serge Franklin gained experience as author-composer-interpreter before becoming a virtuoso sitar player. A great traveller and collector of exotic instruments, he became familiar with the traditional music of many countries. He started composing incidental music for the stage with the Renaud-Barrault company. Years later, he gained attention in the movie world thanks to his collaborations with director Alexandre Arcady. Offers from television soon followed and he ended up working nearly exclusively for this medium.
