Back in 2004 I released an EP called 'Overture' but was always wanting to re-record it.
Like 7 Bridges 2 Cross this album has now received a complete makeover, with fresh arrangements,
fresh adaptations, and a full re-record from the ground up.
Throughout the remake, I kept using the original recording as a reference, but brought it
up to date with fresh new guitar parts and arrangements.
All the while keeping the original themes in mind though..
I started serious work on these remakes in 2016, and
took my time painstakingly working through each track.
Overture is a different album to 7 Bridges 2 Cross, which has a more common theme.
Overture is about celebrating music, from around the world. Taking styles from Ethnic, World,
Classical, Pop, and Heavy Rock music, and putting it all together with my own guitar style.
Along with the other EP release '7 Bridges 2 Cross' they form a good introduction into my
back catalogue of original music. I like to call these EP releases my \"Red and Blue\" albums :)
I make all my albums available to listen to for free on YouTube, but you can obtain
much higher quality versions by purchasing a digital download in WAV or Audio CD.
