The Bit A'Sweet were a mid 60s psychedelic garage rock band from Long Island, New York. The band members were Dennis DeRespino (vocals/keyboards/guitar), Russell Leslie (drums/vocals), Mitch London (bass/vocals), and Jack Mieczkowski (vocals/guitar/sitar). The Bit A'Sweet signed with the record label MGM and made a fantastic debut with the strong and punchy single \"Out of Sight, Out of Mind/Is It On - Is It Off?\". The group appear as themselves performing \"Out of Sight, Out of Mind\" in a club in the groovy hippie exploitation picture \"Blonde on a Bum Trip.\" In 1968 the band recorded the trippy pop/psych/rock album \"Hypnotic 1\" for the ABC label.
