--- ABOUT THIS SONG
\"Please Please Me\" is a song and the second single released by English rock group the Beatles in 1963. Lennon first conceived \"Please Please Me\" as a bluesy, slow tempo song. Lennon recalled: \"I remember the day I wrote it, I heard Roy Orbison doing \"Only the Lonely\", or something. And I was also always intrigued by the words to a Bing Crosby song that went, 'Please lend a little ear to my pleas'. The double use of the word 'please'. So it was a combination of Roy Orbison and Bing Crosby\". Originally it was vocally sparse, did not contain any harmonies or responses, nor did it have the scaled harmonica intro.
--- LYRICS
Last night I said these words to my girl
I know you never even try, girl
C'mon (C'mon), c'mon (C'mon), c'mon (C'mon), c'mon (C'mon)
Please please me, whoa yeah, like I please you
You don't need me to show the way, love
Why do I always have to say \"love\"
C'mon (C'mon), c'mon (C'mon), c'mon (C'mon), c'mon (C'mon)
Please please me, whoa yeah, like I please you
I don't wanna sound complaining
But you know there's always rain in my heart (In my heart)
I do all the pleasing with you, it's so hard to reason
With you, whoah yeah, why do you make me blue
Last night I said these words to my girl
I know you never even try, girl
C'mon (C'mon), c'mon (C'mon), c'mon (C'mon), c'mon (C'mon)
Please please me, whoa yeah, like I please you
