recorded at London's Olympic Studio during the Let It Bleed sessions 23 April 1969, and released on Rolling Stones Records in 1972..(same with Nicky Hopkins chronology & Ry Cooder chronology)
- The song is a jam performed by band members while waiting for Keef! (Brian was... unprevisible..), - - Earlier, Keef having left the studio after an issue about Ry Cooder's role as support guitarist! (in a \"KEEF WAY\" at the \"Olimpic Studio\"-London.
-...So, \"BLOW THAT BLUES\" OFF was recorded with Mick, Charlie, Bill + Ry Cooder, & Nicky Hopkins, with others few blues numbers called \"Jammin With Edward\"
- NOTE: The eponymous \"Edward\" was pianist NICKY HOP'KINS, in reference to \"Edward the Mad Shirt Grinder\".....NICKY star turn on Quicksilver Messenger Service's album Shady Grove.....
Nicky also contributed the cover art.
- The liner notes were written by Mark Paytress and Mick...
