1956 Decca LP, The Astounding Bernard Peiffer. It truly is astounding. Peiffer is a pretty obscure name these days in jazz piano, but this album is worth your time, especially his 'Prelude, Fugue and Trio on Lullaby of Birdland'. This album has never been reissued in the digital era.
