Nos referimos naturalmente a aquellos artistas que con su talento, conquistaron nuestro corazón, sembrando melodías que hoy intentaremos nacionalizar de alguna manera, con instrumentos y ejecuciones propias de nuestra tierra.
En esta ocasión y gracias al virtuosismo de nuestros músicos, nos hemos propuesto rendirles un justo homenaje, para lo cual, recurrimos a los Vientos (Quenas y Zampoñas) que quieren dejarse escuchar, para testimoniarle a esos artistas y con el debido respeto, nuestra constante y permanente gratitud.
No nos imaginábamos el mundo sin JOHN LENNON, pero hoy y gracias a su música, lo tenemos entre nosotros disfrutando de la interpretación íntima de “Imagine”, algo similar podríamos decir de LOUIS ARMSTRONG, cuando nos enseñó lo maravilloso que es nuestro mundo, o el sonido del silencio que nos trajeron SIMON & GARFUNKEL, para terminar rendidos ante FRANK SINATRA, por esa forma tan única y particular de vivir.
Gracias a ellos y a otros más, por prestarnos su música y dejar que los Vientos la hagan suyas.
We refer of course to those artists that with their talent conquered our hearts, planting melodies that today, we will try to nationalize somehow, with instruments and performances of our own land.
On this occasion and thanks to the virtuosity of our musicians, we have decided to pay them a fair tribute, for which we recurred to the Peruvian Quenas and Panpipes that wish to be heard, to express to these artists and with due respect, our constant and permanent gratitude.
We cannot imagine the world without JOHN LENNON, but today and thanks to his music, we have him among us enjoying the intimate interpretation of imagine. Something similar could be said of LOUIS ARMSTRONG, when he taught us how wonderful is our world, or the sound of silence that SIMON & GARFUNKEL brought us, finally to surrender to FRANK SINATRA, for that unique and special way of living.
Thanks to them and others, to lend us their music and let the winds (quenas and panpipes) make them theirs.
