There was something about this ending sequence that told me I just needed to cover it from the moment I heard it. I curiously jumped into Darling in the Franxx mainly because of Trigger's hand in the project, but I didn't expect to be so invested in it! But anyway...

The scale of this project was larger than anything I've ever done, and I had the opportunity to work with @jtangc on realizing this. From what started as me asking him for permission to use the Ichigo gif, to the entire ED recreated in a retro-ish style, it's unbelievable to me how quick the last month flew by. PLEASE ENJOY! Also we know the art isn't 8-bit styled but the music is within limitations of the Famicom and can be played back with one. This isn't 16-bit :p
