‘Blue Orchid’/‘Party Of Special Things To Do’ was performed and recorded for the first episode of the first series of From The Basement.
‘Blue Orchid’ is one of the band’s stand-out tracks and was originally released on the album ‘Get Behind Me Satan’ in 2005. ‘Party Of Special Things To Do’, on the other hand, is a cover of an old Captain Beefheart album and was released by The White Stripes as a single in 2000.
