\"Macmillan's March & Colored Aristocracy\". I got these tunes from my dear friend and old-time fiddle player Phil James, who is also a member, with me, of the Unreel Ceilidh Band. Phil and I used to meet up regularly for a croissant, a coffee and a session on a Friday morning, and this set was one of our favourites. \"Macmillan's March\" is, I think, a Scottish tune; \"Colored Aristocracy\" is a simple fiddle tune, not the 1897 cakewalk composed by Gus Bernard. Played on my Chisholm tenor guitar with backing on my Chisholm \"No. 18\". I was very strict with fingering positions, so there's no hand movement up and down the neck - just very active 3rd and 4th fingers!
