It's a million to one you're in love - Tanz-Orchester "The New Yorkers" (1927)

Playing Next: Hippie Sabotage - "Enemy" [Official Audio]
Random Page  /  Random Song

Right, now here's a great jazzy number on the German Tri-Ergon label. The New Yorkers were American musicians who went to Germany in the 20's and, I presume from the record label, played at the Valencia (or is that where it was recorded?) in Berlin. They made a few records on Tri-Ergon and one on Homochord, all in 1927. This one was cut in November of that year.

Personnel: Evelyn Bazell -t/ Eddie Norman -tb/ Danny Polo -cl-as/ Andy Forster -ts/ Jack O'Brien -p/ George Carhart -bj-g-ldr/ Dave Tough -d.

From Tri-Ergon TE 5137.
