From 1994 to 1996 the band \"Lounger\", which later became \"Travolta\", played their own brand of rock and roll at venues all over London and the south east. They attracted a fair amount of attention from industry types and the music papers, which culminated in recording a demo at the EMI studios.
The songs were initially put together by the three core members, Pete, Justin and Jamie before being finalised as a band in the rehearsal studio. Their punk beginnings, on guidance from record companies, gradually became more commercial, some might say Britpop.
Like all good things it came to an end with a final performance in Camden.
