The Clarendonians es una banda de ska, reggae y rocksteady formada en 1965 en Clarendon, Jamaica. El grupo estaba compuesto por Fitzroy "Ernest" Wilson y Peter Austin, al que mas tarde se le suma Freddie McGregor, un niño de 7 años que no alcanzaba el microfono.
Canciones como "Rude boy Gona Jail", "Rudie Bam Bam", "You Won`t See Me", "Musical Train", "You Can`t Be Happy", "Shoo Be Doo Be" y "Sweet Heart Of Beauty" fueron grandes exitos que marcaron notablemente la era del 'rude boy' del ska, junto con otra banda menos conocida y exitosa hasta el momento, The Wailers.
En 1972 la banda se separa para, finalmente, reagruparse en 1990 y terminar dando un concierto en 2013 para celebrar los 50 años de la banda.
