I love Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs releases. I spotted this copy on Ebay and snagged it for $20. It's in near mint condition. I had a chance to compare the MFSL release with a new 180g reissue and I prefer the MFSL release by a slight margin. The MFSL release has a little more bottom end, midrange fullness and analog type 'warmth'. The 180g version was a bit more forward with the vocals standing out of the mix more. Both vinyl reissues totally blew away the original vinyl release and my store bought CD. :)

This video is meant as a demonstration and critique of the vinyl media format, the Rega P25 turntable, Zyx R100H cartridge, and Audio Research PH5 tube phono preamp. No copyright infringement was expressed or implied. Please support the artist and purchase their music.

Equipment used: Rega P25 w/J.A. Mitchell 'Technoweight', ISOkinetik ISOsub GT and Rega white belt, Zyx R100H moving coil cartridge, Audio Research PH5 vacuum tube phono preamp, Presonus Inspire interface, and Wireworld Eclipse II interconnects. The cartridge was aligned using a Feickert protractor. Tracking weight was set to 1.95g.
