One third of the Walker Brothers , Gary teamed up with Leeds band the Rain and released 3 singles on Phillips , including \" Come in..\" from 1969 which included this fantastic flip. \"Francis\" is an amazing slice of sixties songwriting and sounds like it was recorded 3 years earlier with it's freakbeat thunder. A big noise of the UK Mod /Sixties scene and recorded to great effect by the wonderful Embrooks a few years back.
