''Temple of Serenity'' is a concept album exploring the ultimate rite of passage. What does the Bardo sound like? What are the faces of Death? And, ultimately – how many times have you died before?
Compared to the previous record (The Feathers of Oblivion), the Temple of Serenity includes more elements of post-rock and modern dark psychedelia, also featuring pagan flute, forest drums, percussion instruments, ambient bits, and even some hazy clarinet echoes.
The Temple of Serenity was recorded at Golden HIVE studio in Prague by Amak, who has collaborated with bands such as Mono, Boris or Cult of Luna. Astonishing artwork by IRMA - Aneta Lammrová.
In 40 minutes of post-rock-based psychedelia recorded in Golden Hive Studio in Prague, OOBBT explore the ultimate rite of passage, that is Death, and the journey of the Soul enclosed in the nethermost shrine – the Temple of Serenity. The album blends noise rock intensity with the sounds of pagan flute, forest drums, and swirling guitars, providing the listener with an experience on the threshold between the realm of the living and what lies beyond.
