3rd album of Dutch punkband Bambix, puts more rock into the punk. Contains a lot of fast and furious songs like the gay anthem ‘westboro wankers’ in which Bambix chops down the utterly prejudiced and homophobic Westboro Baptist Church, follwed by the song Brand New Religion about a search for a new religion that doesn’t preach hatred. Leitmotiv also contains the pro-animal-lib song Balaclava boy, a beautiful song about loss: Take Heart, the very poppy-sounding but so full of scorn: Summersong, and the hit of the record, introduced by a bassoon (indeed a bassoon on a punk-record!).
