I.V.T.K.Y.G.Y.G. - Ir Visa Tai Kas Yra Gražu Yra Gražu (1994) [FULL ALBUM]
I.V.T.K.Y.G.Y.G. (\"And Everything That Is Beautiful Is Beautiful\") is Lithuanian psychedelic avant-garde group from Vilnius. This cassette is compilation of their first recordings from between 1987-1991. First issue was in 1991, and this is remastered reissue from 1994. Their later albums varied in style, but this one is weird 60s sounding and inspired psychedelic rock. No other such albums were ever made in Lithuania. Leader and vocalist of the group (until he passed away in 2002) was Artūras Barysas-Baras, better known for being avantgarde film-maker and prominent collector of records and old books. He was very interesting personality and there's a whole book about him. All musicians in group at the time when this was recorded were amateurs and recordings are also home-brewn rather than studio recordings, hence the sound quality. Well done stuff nevertheless.
