David Frye performing three dada style poems at the \"Poetry For A Nude Descending\" poetry reading event curated by David Mattingly and hosted by Rick Karcasheff in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA, September, 1983. This was recorded during the same time period as the \"Swamp Patrol 84\" cassette (by Jaffe, McGee, and Mattingly) and \"A Whole Universe Of Horror Movies\" by Viscera. This recording along with many others from 30 years ago in 1983 were recently discovered or uncovered, and I have been uploading to YouTube many of these rare archival videos of poetry and musical events that were held at Rick Karcasheff's house. David Frye was one of the many unique crazy cool people who hung out with that bunch. I always enjoyed being with David because he was funny and chill and had a great mind. Debbie Jaffe and I owe a great debt to Karcasheff for introducing us to so much great experimental and underground music, the Aeon Distribution Catalog, mail art zines, and especially Daniel Plunkett's ND zine, and the whole great big world of homemade music and hometaperism! Debbie Jaffe created the digital transfers from Jack Sexson's original VHS tape recordings.
