During COVID-19 quarantine, Cody Weathers and the Men Your Mama Warned You About performed a full-length livestream set of fan requests. These included some older Flip Nasty material (Too Much, Along), newer staples (Deep, This Broken Heap, At First Sight, As I Am, Amen, Thin), and a comprehensive request to play their new album in order. Since the new album is a massive double-disc (Red Rocket/This Broken Heap) clocking in at over 3 hours, they opted to play most of disc 2 (This Broken Heap) which has gotten a little less live video attention in the lead-up to release. They didn't quite make it through the whole thing, but got close before switching platforms for the livestream's scheduled Instagram portion. Those songs run from \"Deep\" through \"Catnip\"
At the time of broadcast, fans would only have seen Cody's portion of the set live. But in their own home studios, Jean & Sean played along as the broadcast unfolded. Later, in a separate livestream, Cody did a long \"live overdub\" of drums. The band purposefully minimized any \"studio trickery\" to preserve the feel of a live performance, and astute listeners will note the small imperfections still present as a result (maybe not even particularly astute listeners...)
