Jumbo was a studio group created by German guitarist Ingo Cramer and French trombone player Charles Orieux. Recorded in Berlin's Hansa studios, their first single was the 1975 recording Sexy Lady. Their second single Let's Dance - featuring Hungarian twin sisters Edith & Judy Jeremias - followed in the summer of 1976, launching their first LP. It was, however, side 2 of that LP that stole the show with its glorious, side-long 17-minutes Turn On To Love, a classic piece of sexy mid-70s disco music, complete with wah-wah-guitars and pillow talk, a hit on the US disco charts and success in Asia as well while it was fairly overlooked in Europe.
I have swapped the sides of the album around, starting with side 2 before continuing with side 1, and I have added the B-side Super Came and the single edit of Turn On To Love to the track listing.
