Though also recorded (more) successfully by Doris Day, this small-label version held its own, reaching the national top-10 juke box and radio airplay charts. Among singer Denise Lor’s resume entries were various TV appearances during the 1950s and ‘60s, including a stint with Garry Moore and as a panelist on one of my fondly remembered game shows, Roger Price’s “Droodles” in 1954.
