Written by Glen D. Hardin. Arranged by Glen D. Hardin and produced by Snuff Garrett
After big hits with Bobby Vee and Gary Lewis & The Playboys, producer Snuff Garrett was head of his own label, Viva, in the late 60s. It covered a wide variety of genres from easy listening to garage bands.
The writer and arranger, Glen D. Hardin was a member of the post-Buddy Holly Crickets and a noted 60s’ songwriter. Gary Lewis & The Playboys’ “Count Me In” and “My Heart’s Symphony” were two of his.
The other side of the Eternal Flame’s “Happiness In My Heart” was “Ciao Baby”, a song also recorded by the Toys, the Montanas and Lynne Randell.
“Happiness In My Heart” was also released by Viva label mates, The In Crowd (UK: California In Crowd).
