Random Page  /  Random Song

“Thanks“ was the leading song hit to come from the 1933 Bing Crosby film “Too Much Harmony.” In addition to Bing’s best-seller ( https://youtu.be/v3Sv2D07-Ds ) and this Davis version, other U.S. bands to record “Thanks” included Will Osborne, Victor Young, Leo Reisman and Bill Scotti. Also from the movie was “The Day You Came Along” (on the Davis flip side: https://youtu.be/ARElYWlsvKc )

From 78rpm Columbia 2815-D - Thanks (Johnston-Coslow) by Meyer Davis & his Orchestra, vocal by Lou Conrad, recorded in NYC September 8, 1933
