Patches (Mann-Kolber) by Dickey Lee, produced by Bill Hall & Jack Clement

Originally recorded in 1960 by Jimmy Isle ( https://youtu.be/S0fpM9OkVso ), Dickey’s memorable top-10 “teen tragedy” saga of pretty Patches was his most successful ‘pop’ hit; and he later reinvented himself by placing 29 titles on Billboard’s country charts between 1971 and 1982.
