Nature-mystic one-man band Jahresringe has been quiet for several years, but returns with this exceptional, raw melodic atmospheric concept album inspired by the drought year 2018.



It tells in seven chapters how the year started with an overly mild spring and continued to worsen. Forests withered, were attacked by pests and threatened by large wildfires. The rain that came far too late, came with such a large force that it washed away all the slopes, leaving behind total devastation.



A new drought begins.
