The last five years of their ten-years band history, REKA from Moscow has become a bit calmer. Although the band released three albums in the first five years of their existence, as well as three EPs and played countless shows and festivals, since the EP „Dvala“ in 2014 there was not much output from them. The band had to cope with two line-up changes, but always wrote new songs, which are now released on this album called „Jupiter“. On this album MICHEL BALITRAN (SELENITES) can be heard as a singer for the first time. He follows SEBASTIEN DUCOTTE (CELESTE) and PER SKYTT (AMALTHEA), who have already taken over the vocals on previous albums.

Sound wise, the band has not changed their proven concept. The base is made up of heavy, powerful sludge / postmetal elements, which are broken through again and again by fine melodies and long instrumental parts. The band is in no way inferior to genre stars like AMENRA and ISIS!
