Sammy Warm Hands (Crushkill Recordings) is a prolific emcee, songwriter, producer, and director. Beginning as a punk singer/guitarist—Sam Wartenbee—in the late 1990's, Wartenbee developed an impressive discography before even graduating high school. As bands came and went, Wartenbee found his calling in hip-hop: first with his group, The ILLusionists, and then as a solo artist. With earnest lyrics and punk rock attitude, his music makes a statement that's hard to ignore.
A new Sammy Warm Hands album, Famous Last Words, will commemorate his studio's decade anniversary. Famous Last Words is due this spring, with Wartenbee's ninth national tour to follow.
