Song-A-Day & RPM Challenge 9

I've had a bit more time today so the projector is out and multiple bits of gear were used here. The Yamaha DJXII provided the drums which were squashed to hell with a DIY Flatline optical compressor and the Yamaha Cs2x provided all the synth element including the rhythmical bass, short choir like stabs and amazing pads. As often is the case at the moment, recorded on the Tascam XR3 and mixed with an Inkle MX880E with reverb from a Zoom 1201. The track reminded me of some of the pre-millennium optimism I felt around the time the Cs2x was launched, hence '1999'. Video footage is of my dad visiting nature reserves.
