Fading and Saving Time - an Album Dedicated to Strokes (Full Album)

Disclaimer: all music in this video is NOT made by me. The project is purely an artistic rendition of stroke represented through music, and is non-profit. All rights are reserved for the original creators of the music.

0:00 - Sudden Confusion

This track uses Yearnin' by The Black Keys.

Some words may appear to cut off as reverb and clearer moments come and go, and can easily be excused as the brain being tired. Music is clear, but some singing gets cut off.

1:59 - Searching for Words

This track uses All Hands Against His Own (live) by The Black Keys

A very clear and noticeable change has happened, which cannot be ignored. Others may notice that speaking takes longer than usual. Some sounds are distant, but for the most part everything is audible.

5:00 - Balancing Act

This track uses Source by Fever the Ghost

Even further into confusion, panic settles in as the brain attempts to visualize thoughts correctly, and conversation becomes difficult. Either side of the body become lethargic, as weakness gains control over the muscles. Much of the music is distant, as if a wall were in front of it, and the music travels through each ear.

8:09 - Out of the World

This track uses Come Out and Play by The Offspring

At this point, the brain can no longer control the right side of the body. Only a few phrases can be distinguished as the brain desperately attempts to hold reality together. The music is drawn out and reverberated, but is no longer distant. Audio from the right side is heavily distorted.

11:21 - Fast Lane

This track uses 21st Century Schizoid Man by King Crimson

The brain seldom comprehends it's surroundings, and a feeling of urgency floods every thought. Occasionally, clear and hopeful thoughts albeit, disorganized are visualized. Every sound is harsh, almost ghost-like, with both ears droning with noise.

18:18 - Operation Table

This track uses Weight of Love by The Black Keys

As general anesthesia is administered, thoughts are distant without memory, almost as if a dream was occurring. The sounds are intensely distorted, and sound as if they were played through a concrete wall.

23:26 - Rehabilitation

This track uses Stairway to Heaven by Led Zeppelin

Upon waking up, the brain sometimes repeats parts of thoughts and tries to realize what had happened. Most of the brain is intact, but because some neurons had died, not everything may be clear. A sudden paradigm shift in the mind from surviving causes a boost in courage as the senses regain. The music echoes slightly, and the bass is much quieter.
