\"Matt Borczon, musician navy sailor cigarbox guitar and cookie tin banjo player. Been playing in crappy bars since the early 80s. learned to love old songs from my father and ended up playing home made instruments as a way to keep enjoying the struggle of pulling music out of unusual places. The J mules are a project I do with my friend Steve Brown we play old time music with raw punk energy.\"



\"The newest album by the Jerusalem Mules is a low fi in home recording done in the 17 street studio. The instruments are all hand made by Matt Borczon and consist of a 2 stringed cigar box ukulele, a wash board from a thrift store and a one string bass made from a box that fish were shipped to the grocery store next to my house. Many thanks to Jim Valvis for the wonderful cover art to this CD!!\"
