Frontier - Heater (1997 Tug-o-War Records – TOW-004) Chicago cult group Frontier's second studio album recorded by god himself Steve Albini. Post-rock with sparse vocals and a heavy focus on atmospheres and textures, feels to me like it's out in the stratosphere yet somehow downstairs in the boiler room. The guitars are almost indiscernible as such and it's fucking beautiful.

Scans are from discogs user evangelinoseva (thank you) they went through the trouble (it looks like) to take apart the casing and get a proper scan. This release comes in a screenprinted sleeve, a little larger than a digipak, with a metal bolt holding the whole thing together and allowing the two sleeves to open and close. It's wild.
