Very much the country side of Country Joe, and maybe for the Fish fans one of the harder albums to appreciate but for my money Nothing Joe turned his hand too between 67-75 was not completely excellent I say it loud and proud I am a massive country Joe fan and I even love this album.

If you don't know Country Joe Mcdonalds earlier work then this is probably not the album for you to start with I'd recommend \"I feel like im fixin to die\" but to anyone who has a psychedelic ear even this heavily Country offering should strike a chord. Don't get me wrong this is the last CJM album I would grab from my record collection in the desert island scenario but even the least of Joes work is still allot better than 99% of all recorded music from Edison to infinity.
